The Children’s Ministry at The Crossings is a fun, safe, creative and entertaining environment for children to learn the wonder, the reality, and the truths of God. Designed to be the best hour of a kid’s week, it leaves them begging their parents to take them to church. Combining crafts, activities, dramas, games, and media sources, this kid focused program provides the foundation for building a life of character and faith.

The Children’s ministry consists of three distinctive age groups:

Camp Waumbe (Nursery): Birth- 2 years old

W e Are Uniquely Made to Be Extraordinary.

Every newborn…every infant…is a special creation of God. And at Camp Waumbe that love is expressed through the special attention given to each child. It is staffed by volunteers who have a heart for babies and view them as little wonders of God.

PromiseTown: 2-4 years old

This is where kids begin to get a basic understanding of God and the Biblical values for life. Through the creative use of puppets, videos, readings, music, activities and live dramas the stories of the Bible come alive and connect the dots from the past to the present.

PromiseLand: K-5 th grade

This environment uses both a large group and small group format to reinforce the values being communicated. This gives each child the ability to not only hear and observe but to participate in an interactive group led by kid friendly staff. It’s fun, creative, and meaningful, leaving kids with a lasting impression of the value of knowing God and following Him.
